Here’s two spots featuring comedian Jonathan Winters in his long-running stint as spokesperson for Hefty trash bags. Both commercials aired in November of 1978.

A pair of early Seventies Ford commercials rolling into view. First, the Maverick line-up featuring The Grabber muscle car debut from September of 1970.
Second, Chaffey College students in California drive a Pinto 100 thousand miles – and live to tell the happy tale. This spot aired in October 1971.

Star Wars superstar R2-D2 makes an appearance today in a March 1979 Public Service Announcement for saving energy. After that, we have an October ’79 spot featuring a kid’s baseball game and the “Have a Pepsi Day!” jingle.

I’ve got two excellent Mego Corporation toy commercials lined-up for you today. Both feature the Caped Crusader and aired in 1977.
First, a Batman & Robin Bat Coders spot filled with action-packed walkie-talkie adventures. After that, a commercial for the incredibly awesome Batman Wayne Foundation Crime Lab playhouse.
