Sixties Week continues (and finishes for now) with four commercials from 1968 and ’69. First up, the “new” Pontiac Grand Prix. Following that, groovy spots for Alpo dog food, Listerine mouthwash (with Clifton Davis), and Amaze-a-Matics toy racers. Can you dig it?

A very merry President’s Day to you! Let’s get updated here with some vintage commercials from the years 1973 through 1976. In reverse chronological order, you’ll enjoy spots for PSA Airlines, Imperial Margarine (with Eve Arden), Liquid Gold, and Farah Slacks.

I flew on PSA Airlines numerous times as a kid. The planes had a smiley face painted on the nose. It was a California thing.

Let’s get the new month going with four spots from 1972. Feast your eyes on commercials for Disney’s Action Viewer toy, Cling Free, the Presto Jumbo Frypan, and Parker Brother’s Square Off board game.

I had a very similar Fisher Price movie viewer in the mid-seventies. It was more yellow than red and the cartridge contained the Disney cartoon Lonesome Ghosts. I never had Square Off, but I do remember moving around those tiles to form a line. I must have played it somewhere. How about yourselves?
