Ashton, Gardner and Dyke were a UK-based band who released three LPs in the early seventies. “Resurrection Shuffle,” written by Tony Ashton, was the group’s biggest hit, grabbing #40 on the US Hot 100 and #3 in the UK. Catch a rollicking 1971 performance for European TV below.

A very pleasant Monday to you. Here’s one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite artists; “Plan 9 Channel 7” by The Damned.
“Plan 9 Channel 7” was written by all members of the band and appeared on the Machine Gun Etiquette LP in November of 1979. You can watch a very rare video for the song below. Try to ignore the YouTube poster’s text on the video screen and revel in the dark, humorous majesty of The Damned.
