‘Who was that non-masked man?’ (REA Express commercial, 1970)

“REA Air Express rides again!”

Time to deliver our Daily 70s Spot. Here we have a commercial for REA Air Express featuring a Lone Ranger theme. REA was at one time the nation’s largest express delivery service. In 1975 the company filed for bankruptcy. UPS and FedEx took up the slack.

My apologies, the video source sound is slightly out-of-sync. However, it’s worth watching for the small slice of historical value. Spot aired in November of 1970.
