I’ve got two Texaco spots for you this Saturday. Firstly, a commercial featuring the still relatively new (for 1978) World Trade Center. After that, a spot I remember fairly well featuring Uncle Sam leaping over barrels of imported oil.

Here’s a memorable song entitled “An E on the End.” I’m fairly certain this dates from 1973 (mostly due to Denise Nickerson‘s presence in the band), though it could be as early as ’72. Sing along!
