It’s time to start off a new week and time for a 70s tune to get us rolling along. Here’s a song that was at the top of the charts 40-years-ago on the Billboard “Hot 100” (April 06, 1974).

It’s Blue Swede with “Hooked On A Feeling.” The video below is a live performance from ’74. “Hooked On A Feeling” was written by Mark James and originally performed by B.J Thomas in 1968. Incidentally, Blue Swede were the first Swedish group to hit #1 in the US. (Sorry, ABBA!)
