“Bugs Bunny and all his pals, live onstage in a brand new show!”

Our theme for today’s 1970s commercials is “Goofball.” First up, we have a rare spot for the live-action stage show, Bugs Bunny Meets The Super-Heroes. Wow, that would have been something to see. The show looks mighty wonderful and seems to be smothered in cheese.

After that, the ultimate in “Goofball,” The Gong Show. Your celebrity guests for the week are Carl Ballantine, Dorothy Lamour and Jamie Farr. Both commercials ran in the summer of 1978.
