Happy Monday, boppers. Here’s a fine and mellow tune to start your week. It’s Al Stewart and his band performing “Year of the Cat” live on the UK music show, The Old Grey Whistle Test circa 1976 (possibly 1977).
“Year of the Cat” was released in the summer of ’76 in the UK and in the fall of ’76 in the US. The song hit the top ten in the States and top 40 in the UK.
