Here’s a very cool spot for Ralph Bakshi’s animated version of J. R. R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings. The film opened in November of 1978. In this commercial, we find the movie opening into wider release in February of ’79.

Back when KFC was still known as Kentucky Fried Chicken they fired up a newfangled barbeque-style flavor. Ooowee, it shore was twangy!
