Now you've seen everything.

Now you’ve seen everything.

“Florida’s finest. A discriminating grapefruit.”

Here’s a mildly funny spot for Florigold Grapefruit. A wealthy fruit seeker and her servants round-up the “finest” grapefruits in the grove. The commercial aired in May of 1972.

“One squeeze tells you why people call us The Fresh Guys.”

Time to grab a few 70s mascots by the package and squeeze for freshness! It’s all on display in this spot for Wonder Bread from May of 1972.

I enjoyed these commercials when I was a younger human being. Anything animated with fun, cartoon voices worked for me.

Greetings! Apologies for the recent lack of posts. Let me get things jump-started with a commercial for Haggar slacks.

In this spot, that aired in December of 1973, we find Mariette Hartley and friends enjoying the Encron polyester trousers on a few passing gentlemen.

“RCA is making television better and better.”

Here’s actor, Samantha Eggar (Doctor Dolittle, The Molly Maguires) for RCA ColorTrak TV sets. The spot aired in December of 1976.

Fun fact, I was a dinner guest at Samantha Eggar’s place one holiday about 20 years back. She was very gracious and intelligent and a good time was had by all. Kate Mulgrew was there too and we all watched Bullets Over Broadway on TV. (I don’t think it was an RCA). But, enough of my yakkin’! Enjoy the commercial!
