Second, a spot for Elmer’s School Glue featuring a “Den Mother” and a rowdy group of young’ns.

Eat all you can today with two delectable spots. First, we have a Big T Family Restaurant commercial featuring Tastee-Freez desserts. The spot aired in July of 1979.
After that, a California commercial for Spires Family Restaurants from November of ’79. Go on, go for seconds!

Two Right Guard Natural Scent spots for the beginning of May. First up, Chuck McCann brings the humor in the long-running “Hi, guy!” series of commercials. This one aired in December of 1972.
After that, a more serious, manly man spot (possibly starring Michael Storm) from October ’72.

Two spots now from Toyota’s famous (infamous?) “You asked for it, you got it” series. Both commercials aired in early September of 1978. Don’t get that jingle stuck in your head!

Raise your hand if you remember Pepsi Light! Well, I sure do.
Here’s a spot for the soft drink from January 1976 (produced in 1975). While researching this a bit I was unable to come up with much other than the product was made for markets outside of the US. However, this commercial (and my own memories) attest that the drink was available in the US in the 1970s – at least for a while.
After the Pepsi Light spot, gulp down a Schlitz beer commercial featuring a beach clambake with a snarky jokester. This one aired in December of ’76.

Two classic spots for Wilkinson Sword razor blades today. From February 1971, a spot for “The Blade” with a cheeky comparison to Gillette. After that, a commercial from October ’71 introducing the Bonded Shaving System – a first of its kind.
