Here’s two Western-style eatery commercials. One from the start of the decade, the other, nearer the end. First it’s Roy Rogers and the restaurant chain bearing his name from November of 1970.

After that, a Ponderosa spot from January of 1979 (produced in ’78). Yee haw and such!

Back in March, I posted a spot for Mattel Electronics Football handheld. Here now, are two more spots in the Mattel Electronics line-up; Basketball and Baseball. The Basketball spot aired in December of 1978, the Baseball spot in July of ’79.

To help get you through your mid-week drive-time we have a pair of vehicle spots from 1976. Firstly, a commercial for the ’77 Cadillac Sedan de Ville from October ’76.

Second, a spot from June ’76 for the Chevy Monte Carlo. Filmed, incidentally, in and around the Sheraton-Universal hotel next to Universal Studios theme park in Los Angeles.
