“Flavor fit for a queen!”
1972 and ’73 are the ancient years in the spotlight today. First up, a classic commercial for Imperial Margarine featuring the famous trumpet fanfare and magically-appearing crown. I think you’ll remember this spot – or, at least, this theme that ran for a good while. They appeared in the same general time frame as the Imperial commercials featuring Eve Arden.
After that mind-bending special effects masterpiece, take a look at a spot for Libbyland Frozen Dinners. I don’t remember the product, but I adore the commercial. Look at that set they built!
Last, but certainly not least, we’ve got ads for Homelite Chainsaws and Aurora’s Skittle Bowl (with Gene Wood).

I remember LibbyLand frozen dinners! We only got them as special treats, Dad complained they cost too much compared to regular TV dinners 🙄
I don’t really remember them but, maybe…vaguely? Love the commercial though!
