Now, let’s get to some fresh seventies commercials! Here’s a fine quartet of spots from the 1972-73 era for Purina Cat Chow, State Farm Insurance, Exocaine, and Mateus rosé wine.

EXOCAINE COMMERCIAL (1973)
Exocaine Medicated Foam commercial featuring spokesperson Mrs. J. Sullivan. Spot aired December 1973.
MATEUS ROSE WINE COMMERCIAL (1972)
Mateus rosé wine commercial featuring a couple in Portugal. Spot aired November 1972.

There was a hush puppies ad from 1978 that was done in New Orleans. I have seen the men’s version of the ad but there was a second version done. The ladies version of the ad. I haven’t seen this in years and I think it featured a jazz band.
Interesting. Doesn’t sound familiar, but I’ll post it up if I ever come across it.
