Happy holiday Monday. To get you in the mood for relaxing and/or dancing, here’s The Hues Corporation with their 1974 smash “Rock The Boat.” I well remember this tune enlivening the radio airwaves when I was a smaller human being.

“Rock The Boat” appeared on the group’s 1973 debut album Freedom For The Stallion and again on 1974’s Rockin’ Soul LP. The song, written by Wally Holmes, grabbed the #1 spot on the US Hot 100 and #6 in the UK.
