The Everly Brothers were hugely successful in the 1950s and ’60s and, less-remembered today, continued making new recordings together into the 1970s. Here’s a newly released video of the brothers performing Merle Haggard’s “Mama Tried” on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1971.
