Paul McCartney and Wings released their version of the fairy tale sing-a-long “Mary Had A Little Lamb” in early summer of 1972. This non-LP single arrived in the time period between the Wild Life and Red Rose Speedway albums and grabbed the #9 spot in the UK and #28 in the US.
