A pair of Marathon candy bar commercials from the Mars company today. First, Patrick Wayne appears as Marathon John in a pirate-themed spot from 1974. Wayne did a series of these commercials for Marathon.
Second, a new actor plays Marathon John in a Canadian-themed spot from 1975. The Marathon bar may last a good long time, but these commercials only last for 30 seconds. Savor them!
