Once again, I was seduced into peeking into one of those little used and nigh well forgotten areas of the house and much to my shame, not only to find that I have this actual product, but somehow ended up with the smaller GE ‘Frank-n-Burger’ as well. On deep meditative reflection, I have a dim memory of these being a holiday gift of some kind to the parents from all us kids. On that fateful day when I loaded all my worldly belongings into my car (a late 70’s Pontiac), the parents gifted them to me, still very much unused. They lived the back of a darkened cabinet, only seeing the barest moment of sunlight when moving from apartment to first home, to again reside in the hidden back water of a corner kitchen cabinet. And now, they’ve once more been returned to the darkness, how many years will it be before the light of some future bulb again shines on them … and you know what, they’re still very much unused.
