‘Pufnstuf’ trailer title, 1970
We’ve featured the Pufnstuf television series more than once here at the ‘Disco, but we’ve yet to present the theatrical trailer for the movie version. Let’s remedy that now, seeing as it’s Trailer Tuesday.
“This is the year for Pufnstuf!”
As in the television series, Jack Wild stars as Jimmy. However, the voice of H.R Pufnstuf is provided by Allan “Sam the Butcher” Melvin, as opposed to Lennie Weinrib. Be sure and keep your eyes peeled for Cass Elliot as Witch Hazel and Martha Raye as Boss Witch. Roll it!
