This installment of Brady Bunch Moments finds the family being scouted for a TV commercial by so-hip-it-hurts TV director, Skip Farnum. Farnum thinks the Bradys are just right for selling “groovy products” like Safe laundry soap.
TV maestro Farnum is played by Paul Winchell, best-known to the 70s-generation for his voice work as Dick Dastardly in Wacky Races and Tigger in Disney’s Winnie the Pooh flicks. The clip below comes from season three of The Brady Bunch and the episode “And Now a Word From Our Sponsor,” which originally aired on November 5, 1971. You’re gonna have to look that one up, man, if you wanna scope the whole ball o’ wax. Ya dig?
